Troisdorf's Autobahn exit

A place with prospects

With over 77,000 inhabitants, Troisdorf is the biggest city in the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis (Rhein-Sieg district) and is divided into 12 urban areas.

Location of the city

Troisdorf lies directly on the A59, which links Cologne and Bonn. A large section of Cologne/Bonn Airport lies in the Troisdorf urban area. Troisdorf's location and transport links, together with the work done by TROWISTA , Troisdorfer Wirtschaftsförderungs- und Stadtmarketing GmbH (Troisdorf Business Development and Town Marketing), are key factors in the city’s status as one of the leading economic centres in the Rhineland.

An open-minded town

Glass gates mark the entrances to the expansive pedestrian zone.

This has over 300 specialist shops, ice cream parlours, cafes and restaurants and a cinema complex.
The railway station and Town Hall are situated nearby.
A car park routing system displays the availability of parking spaces.

Art in Troisdorf

Art accompanies the visitor to Troisdorf at every turn - a fountain and other works by Victor Bonato, the life-size sculpture "Der dicke Mann" by Prof. Seemann and other sculptures on streets, in squares and in Burg Wissem park.
